Dear Business Leaders and Friends,

The American Cancer Society’s Golf Classic is a high-end, amenity-rich tournament that raises funds for the Society’s mission to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer. While progress has been made in cancer research, we still have a lot of work to do.

We invite you to support our efforts to finish the fight against cancer by joining us on September 8 & 9, 2024, for first-class golf and networking. By bringing together business and community leaders to this event, we are able to support the American Cancer Society’s mission.

Funds raised will help the American Cancer Society continue to fund life-saving research as well as free programs and services for cancer patients and their families in Kentucky and across the nation. We know with your participation we can help to make this cancer’s last century.

We hope to see you on the course!

Our Mission

Mission Funding: Research

Since 1946, the American Cancer Society has supported researchers at pivotal points in their career – to give them the support they need to keep great research going or to take their ideas from dream to reality. The American Cancer Society is proud to have helped more than 24,000 investigators make important advances in prevention, early detection, treatment, and care for those with cancer. In fact, 50 of those investigators have gone on to win the Nobel Prize, considered the highest accolade any scientist can receive. As the largest private not-for-profit, non-governmental funder of cancer research in the US, the American Cancer Society has played a role in many of the major cancer research breakthroughs of the last century.
